The Shimano chain CN-HG95 10-speed transmits the power from the chainring to the sprocket of the rear hub. It is exposed to extreme loads and weather conditions.
Depending on the conditions of use, chains vary in length, but each chain must be replaced sooner or later. Timely replacement is the only way to protect chainrings and sprockets from excessive wear.
To get the best possible performance from the Shimano HyperDrive system, it is important to drive original Shimano HG chains.
The completely new, directional 10-speed HG-X chain is specially designed for mountain bikes. Use the next evolutionary step in sound technology. This chain shifts more smoothly, saves weight and increases overall system performance. The right side running direction binding is optimized for front shifting, the left side for rear shifting.
