POC Joint VPD System Knee
The POC Joint VPD System Knee is a highly flexible, 2-ply knee protector that complies with international shock absorption standards.
Like the VPD Air models, the knee protector has a highly efficient ventilation system and an outer fabric made of high-tenacity polyamide yarns for low friction and high abrasion resistance.
VPD is the perfect material for mountain bikers. It wraps around the body shape of the rider when warm and thus offers great freedom of movement on the bike.
To protect you as a driver in a fall, VPD technology hardens on impact and minimizes injuries.
The light and super comfortable pads combine the breathability of POC Air with the strength of VPD 2.0 pads.
Best protection by VPD
With VPD 2.0 you get the highest level of protection. The excellent shock absorption complies with European standards EN1621-1 / -2, and in exchange for more protection, the VPD Air model offers less ventilation.
If the traditional body armor is too bulky, warm or unruly for you, we have just the right thing for you. VPD Air is light and well ventilated. The high level of protection is nevertheless given to you with every ride.
If you are looking for a combination of both systems (Air and 2.0), you should use the VPD system. The highest certified protection is guaranteed with complete freedom of movement with shock-absorbing inner bearing and abrasion-resistant outer layer. The protection of the 2.0 and the breathability of VPD Air are perfectly combined.
