The Metz Moover is the first approved "Made in Germany" electric scooter for roads and cycle paths. This is possible due to a special permission of the Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt. The Metz Moover is thus legally on the road in Germany ahead of many competing products.
The solidly built electric pedal scooter not only meets all the requirements placed on quality e-bikes, but also those of the StVZO §20. In terms of legal security and quality, it clearly stands out from cheap e-scooters. An accredited testing institute tested the Metz Moover on the basis of the pedelec standard DIN EN 15194 and found it to be just as safe and high-quality as an electric bicycle.
The Metz Moover is developed, designed and manufactured in Zirndorf, Franconia. It is a high-quality vehicle suitable for everyday use with a stable, galvanised frame manufactured in Germany. The wide running board and the low centre of gravity ensure a comfortable driving feeling.
Thanks to the air-suspended 12-inch wheels, even potholes no longer pose a risk of accidents. The daytime running lights, the rear reflector and the durable mechanical disc brakes make the Moover a safe and low-maintenance means of transport.
The Metz Moover is not a substitute for a bicycle on long distances, but it offers advantages on short distances. It is easier to store than a bicycle in your home, office or trunk. This scooter is suitable for anyone who wants to cover short distances quickly and safely. This applies above all to city dwellers, mobile home owners, employees on large factory premises and commuters. In this way you can avoid the shortage of parking space in the city center.
With the E-Scooter in the boot, you can drive comfortably with your Metz Moover to a parking lot in the outer city area and the last few kilometers through the city center. At your destination you don't have to search for a parking space anymore, just take the scooter folded up into the office. The E-Scooter can reach a maximum speed of 20 km/h. After a short push, the electric motor is comfortably accelerated by a hand pedal on the handlebar.
Recharge the Moover in just three to four hours at any conventional socket. With one battery charge you can reach up to 25 km. In order to receive a small, self-adhesive insurance sticker, you have to take out a (non-personal) liability insurance of 35.70 euros. If you are 15 years old and have at least one Mofa test certificate, you are legally safe with the Moover.
A bicycle helmet does not have to be worn, but it is better to use a helmet for speed and traffic.
